Ha! Fun to watch, but that ain't a fair fight.

Greg Olsen posted a speed of 183 in that boat at this year's ShootOut.

Those R44's are nimble enough, but max out around 110.
And that's with one skinny video guy and a pilot.
I know that when my big azz is in one, regardless of the size of the videographer,
the thing barely hits triple digits.

Just sayin'...

Jay is right, and it's not just an R44 that can't keep up. A Hughes 500, Jet Ranger and Long Ranger can't touch a 180-mph boat. All three of those aircraft top out around 150 mph.

Until someone starts flying a Blackhawk for photos (now that would be a sight), the fast boats will continue to beat the helicopters.

An R44 is like the moped of the sky. It gets ya there, but nothing to show off about!
