Ultra Stealth 22, opinions? What is the top speed?
I'm considering the Ultra stealth 22 (around year 2000 +/-)
Reall like the look and the wild graphics.
But most only have a 350 in them, and only do 60 MPH.
I'm wondering with a 502 or 496, maybe header, maybe shorty drive, what sort of top speed can they get?
Is it a straight V, or does it have a pad to run on @ high speed?
Only looking for an I/O

most 22 foot sport boats will run low 60s with ~300HP.
How are you mainly going to use the boat? The ultra stealth looks like its more of a ski boat. There are probably better hulls out there for rough water in a 22 foot size range.

Currently, mine is a 1990 20'7 Eliminator V bottom with pad 454 magnum, CMI, raised drive running 82 MPH GPS. amazing boat. But needs some works, and never will be a mint condition boat.
I like to cruise around @ 60 MPH @ 3500 RPM, and go for short blast for a few minutes, trimmed out and flying (runs like a progression)
Love the look of multi coloured gel, like Lavey, Eliminator Ultra etc (don't want stickers or paint)
Boat will be stored in a dry boathouse on a lift, never sits in water for any period of time.

Well, with enough power, you can make anything fast. Im sure a 525 would push that boat to 80+, but the real question is would it be safe and/or fun at that speed.
For me, graphics are low on the list when looking for a new boat.
What are you looking for in a boat other than the graphics? What is your target speed, # of passengers, price range, are you going to pull skiers, etc?

Would like to stick with 454, 502 or 496 , magnum (Would love a 500 EFI, but generally are a big price jump)
Fit and finish, style, jel finish (like Eliminator, Ultra, Lavey etc) Love the v with pad ride, very stable at speed (hard ride, but I'm fine with that)
Top speed, 1 or 2 people, cruising 3-4 people. No skiing, no tubing.
My lake is a medium sized lake, fairly calm (a Hydrostream V-King will kill you thou!) and 18' Donzi you can run full speed all day.
Price range $20-$25K (and will go $30 for the "perfect" boat)
Here are some, but want a big block:
