Default Key West - Best Hotel To Watch Races

I'm going to the Keys for the first time, and have an opportunity to watch the races from two different hotel balcony's. A few friends have great rooms. One at the Pier House and one at the Ocean Keys.Any suggestions? I may also have a spot at the Marriott. Would really appreciate any input.Wherever we end up,I can't wait.

The Westin or The Pier House

The Westin has great food and a bar right there on the balcony..not as exciting as watching them from the place at the end of the pits though ( spectator area? ) The boats come really close to the wall at that spot..

12 more days!!!

Ocean Key and Pier House has about the same view except Pier house is a little closer to the turn in the harbor. Both are good.
Marriott is no where near the course but a great place to stay

I figure if I can pass out, where I can watch the races from the night before,(pits, dock, dumpster, strippers lap, jail cell with a view) all should be good.
