You can find several Sundancers with big blocks and bravo 1's also. They came in the sport cruiser lineup which went to 33' for years and then I think they bumped it to 35'. They are rare b/c most people wanted the v-drive, however, I did a test drive in Knoxville at the plant during a dealer meeting back in the late 90's on a 33' Sundancer with big blocks and Bravo 1's. That was a fun boat! A mid 90's 33' Sundancer with Bravo 1's will perform the same as the 380SS (or better) and you will have more usable room inside and out. They can also be trailered easy with a good dually.

I had a 94' 33 Searay with 5.7s and Alpha 1's and it ran just as good if not better than the 99' Searay I had with 7.4s and V drives.

I have always like the 380ss and was looking for one for awhile. I opted for a Fountain 380sc which is a little smaller in the cabin but pretty darn quick for a cruiser

Thanks guys, I am going to actually visit one for sale over this winter to see the layout. The funny thing is that they are priced all over. I have found '93-'96 anywhere from $25,000-$100,000.

I/O will always run a little faster because drive is behind boat. but for having v-drives are so much nicer. shifting, less maintence, i think they run smoother.

I had all ready listed it today before my buddy sent me this link.

I am pretty sure this is exactly what you are looking for.

I have spent 2 years and a ton of money on it. The sun pad in the back will hold a lot of chicks at one time

The cabin is not really roomy, but there is plenty of room on the V Berth.

The good thing is that it will hold 68Deg on a 105 degree day with the AC on the genset., and run every other thing in the boat and a blender as well.

If you are coming out of a mid size power boat, this thing will feel like the HYATT.

It would probably actually get to 50 if you customized it a little. I was thinking about some old fashioned GILS, and some 250 blowers to probably get it into the mid to high 50's and be a nasty little sleeper. I had it to 42 with the bravo props and 45 with teh 3 blades, but that was when the bottom was clean. It has bottom paint on it.

I have a survey from when I bought it in 2008. It has been a good boat.

New gimbles, 280 K-planes (they did not come with those big tabs. 40+- hours on the outdrive rebuilds.

Really bright underwater transom lights.

Call me if you are really interested. I can email you a bunch of pics.

For an OSO guy and a quick sell, I will throw in the trailer, and some engine upgrade parts that I have in stock for it.

This boat will park itself in a phone booth if I wanted it to. It has vacuum assist shifters so they act like transmissions, and it does not take as much water as V Drives.

Being able to trim the nose up helps as well.

Your pricing is based on what they owe on them and what kind of work has been doen in the last couple years.

There is a lot more stuff to wear out with gimble, bravo, etc.

Generators, AC, and all the stuff in the cabin will break the bank if you have to change it out, just like any comfortable boat.

Mine also has a full camper enclose for use during the winter, or storage.

Either way, good luck with your search..
