The Tri-max, BPM and Areneson surface drives would prefer a transom deadrise angle of about 4 degrees to help with positive trim angles, but the bottom is exactly the same.

While the transom can be different it is not required. A standard boat is all we need nothing special

+1 for lack of knowledge

Cost less, get more HP to the prop, more reliable, less maintenance. Seems like a no brainer to me.

Cats run nuetral or negative trim anyway(mostly), so it makes a lot sense.

I have a 32 Skater with Arnesons. Nice Package.

I notice not too many have been for sale either for as many that have been built.

Do you think the reason is guys know how good the shaft drive is and they don't want to part with the package?
