Engines are 05s with 160 hours of fresh water use. I've heard mostly good things about the opts. What has been your experience?

That trailer is very specific to a go-fast OUTBOARD boat. Look at how far back the axles are placed.

Scott Mander works on all of my HP stuff. I am doing a 39 cigarette open fish now and am looking for motors. Scott recommended against the 05 xs motors... you have to run 93 octane and they are high maint. compared to the regular optis.

I think I am going to go with 300 hpdis. I found 3 at a pretty good deal.

I looked at Nextrails site. Pricing is pretty competitive. Read a few comments on different forums also - mostly positive. Would be an option if I get the Myco sold.

It could hold your boat if the axels are strong enough. I have my 302 on a twin axel and they barely settle when the boat is on it. Even with one rim off the trailer can easily handle it. May be worth looking into... Pulling a twin axel is much better then a tripple IF it can handle the load.
