That seems like a logical decision seeing as that's not a length covered by Fountain. Looks like the larger Baja's are mothballed in favor of the fountains

Too bad it's only the smaller boats. I think Baja really shined in the 30-40' area. But baby steps are at least steps in the right direction.

All the tooling that went to NC are good running hulls. The 40ol was not very fast, but it was a wave crusher.

Next up is getting rid of the Donzi fish boats, they are duplicates of Fountain's product. The Baja 30-36 OL were their best looking boat but without a step bottom they are old school and not much market for that technology. Baja is an excellent entry level boat.

Ive always wanted to start a thread and find out how many guys on here started out in a Baja. It seems like there were alot of Cigarette owners that were previous Baja owners.

Ive always considered boats like the Baja 20 and 23 Outlaws as entry level boats. The 30, 32, 33, 35, 36 and 40 Outlaws shouldnt be considered entry level, but affordable alternatives for the average joe. (Im below average joe for anyone that offends!):drink:

I didn't see anything about the performance line. I know right now they only show three Baja's in that group but I'd like to see the 302 342 38 special still being made. I wish the 335 would still be built also. I know it will be a long time before we are ready to get a different boat and when we do I'd like the 335 to be around, my wife likes the look of them form pictures that she has seen. I still think the bigger outlaws still need to stay around because people still like these boats and want them.

Just to clarify, I didn't mean the 30-36 Outlaws were entry level but rather the 20-26 are. :D
