From earlier posts... The Tres performance driving school recommendation is great advice. I recommend you and the gf visit a couple boat shows and spend some time in several makes and models to get a feel. We did, and our Formula just 'felt' right compared to some other models.

lol! I think we have another post of the year nomination.
Dang Its only been two days and there is 11 pages of yall trying to spend this guys money. Its been nice though, ive seen some nice boats in the classifieds.
And on the trying to swim away from a floter. Dont be laughing, Yall know yall have tryed it.
Should have seen this post earlier, but here is a great buy.
And it has a spot for the big job. No floaters to worry about.
Besides, price is droped a bit. Have to get that updated.
Here are two cats w/o motors or drives but one of them has the CMI tailpipes. The prices are great and here's the opportunity for you to pick your own power and drives, from the 496HO/Bravo pkg to the Merc 525 to the Ilmor 725/Indy pkg. Raylar has upgrade pkgs from 500 to 600hp for the 496. The stock 496HO will run mid to high 80s in this boat. 525s will run low to mid 90s. Ilmor 725s will run 115-120.
These rigs will weigh between 8000-9000lbs and can be towed with a 3/4 ton truck or big SUV.
