With your budget and no trade you are in a great position.Everyone has made good suggestions. If you are running in the ocean out there I would get at least a 38 and there is no way I would tow any 38 or even a 35 with your vehicle so you need to save some of the cash for a different truck.
Good Luck

IMO you're getting a lot of bad advice from people that wish they had $150k to spend on what they would buy with that money. My personal opinion is you're nuts for considering anything over a 35, and I would strongly advise you to get a 30'-33'. Going from a 21' Baja, anything over 28' is going to feel like a yacht. Is this going to be your first boat with twins? Regardless, I would think you'd be happiest with a boat with some cabin room, with reliable moderate Hp. I would only consider 500efi and 525efi boats, or 502 mag boats if you think you can live with 415hp.

A 33' Donzi, IMO, would be the perfect boat for you due to the cabin amenities, cockpit layout, quality, ride, etc. A 33' outlaw should get strong consideration. Baja may lack some fit and finish quality but for partying and practicality their boats are 2nd to none. They have by far the largest cockpit in their class, and it is a super functional layout. Formula is another manufacturer that I would look at if I were you. Finally, I think you should consider a 31' Sonic, but I don't know anything of their quality. I just know that they have a great cabin and they're a nice functional boat.

Cigs are nice, but I think you should stick with a 31' if you're not going to upgrade your tow vehicle. A 33' Powerplay is a GREAT boat, but I don't think it will have all of the cabin goodies that you're looking for. I feel the same way about the 32' Fountain, but it is a good mid-point between the Donzi and the PP.

To try towing a 37' Outerlimits, or a 35' + anything is going to destroy your vehicle, be cumbersome at the launch, and get you a lot of funny looks, not to mention be illegal if you happen to be unfortunate and wreck.

You're going to need more truck with just about any boat over 30'. A few feet and then options start making a big difference. You add a gen, ac, head, etc and it adds up. I went from a 42 Lightning to a 47 and it was night and day difference. They were both triples.

If you are dead set against upgrading the truck I'd stay closer to the 30' range. You can buy a ton of boat for $150k. You asked about asking prices and offers, well you don't want to low ball someone. On the other hand you don't know if you don't ask. Look at the classifieds for ranges. Conditions, hours, use, history all come into play. Someone suggested taking someone that knows about boats with you too. If that's not possible you can also get a survey done. They range about $15 a foot.

I also like the idea of a 38 Top Gun, but you will need more truck.

Another great boat for under 150K is the Donzi 35 and 38 ZR. The 38ZR with staggered 525's would be my choice.

This is a great choice...Speed and comfort. This is an 85-90 mph boat that flies great and throws one heck of a rooster tail for tame power. It has twin Mercury Racing 525's and is priced right in your range. Its worth a look.

Good luck...you are definitely in the driver's seat with this one.
