Tons of great advice here... It's appreciated...
To clear things up, I don't mind getting a tow vehicle... Funny enough, my last boat is why I have my current truck. I would just buy a $15k older truck to handle the job and can write it off so it wouldn't be the end of the world and it wouldn't take away from my budget... Nor would a repair budget... So taking all that into consideration I'm still willing to spend up to $150k
Any thoughts on this:

All the best!

With that said, that looked liked a great deal on that F-34... it appears to have sold already though.

As Adam said, the insurance on that thing would be crazy high! Cats are expensive to insure to begin with, but once you get over ~125+mph, they start getting REALLY expensive to insure.

Good advice, but a question. Do you run your 21.5 Baja in the ocean, I would imagine that you would have to pick your days for that.....so where do you boat the rest of the time?
If you are thinking along the lines of that DCB, and running in the ocean, you would be almost in the same place you are now. If you do go cat, 32 Skater, at a minimum, 32-36 Spectre, 32-36 Eliminator, and insurance would be very exspensive, if you could get it at all.
37 Outerlimits, great boat for the ocean, but not much too chose from in that price range.
42-38 Fountain, another boat that would work great for what you want, and a broader selection of years, and prices.
33-38 Donzi also a good choice.
35-39 Cigarette more on the market to chose from, and beautiful boats.
All boats that fit your needs, would require a change of tow vehicles though.

I would be willing to give a GOOD deal on this boat. You would have to be flexible in your budget though!

Ok,
My short list for what you are looking for:
Donzi 38zr, Cigarette Top Gun, Outerlimits 37.
Get something with twin 525's.
This will keep maintenance down, insurance at the lowest possible, and still give you 80-90mph top end.
Stay away from cats until you have more experience at speed and insurance will be a nightmare, not to mention trailering a 10'+ wide boat.
You can get a deal on one of the above boats in the $125k range, buy a used dually for $5-10k and pocket the rest for maintenance costs. You will have a package that cost new in excess of $400k, safe tow rig, and something with a high end brand name to resale down the road.
Good Brand Name Boats are Easiest to Sell When It is Time to Upgrade or Move On!!!! Trust me.
Just my $.02
