Thumbs up Getting Surveyed

Well the time is here. The next step in getting my new ride. Going to meet the surveyor today for the Insurance Company. Once that is complete, the policy can be placed in effect and off the lift it goes. I got to hear those 2.5's bark the other day. Unfortunately the Tornado watch went into effect and all we could do was cover it up. I was so close to getting a ride in...

BODYSHOT, My 13 footer will be there. Insurance won't be on the 28 till Monday. Boomer, Yes it was built for Outboards. Factory tells me there are only about 20 of them built. I am the 3rd owner but have known the boat since it was delivered to the original and 2nd owners. Thunderdan, Thanks! All went well today. The surveyor always hears what great shape a boat is in prior to seeing it for himself. Yeah, I told him the same thing, but when he saw it, he could not believe all was original and in such good shape for an '89. He made a few suggestions on things I already was considering. Adding "Kill Switches" for the engines and also take it a step further, add them to cut off the fuel pumps as well. I will be asking for suggestions on how to cut the pumps when the engines stop. I don't know if that is possible with outboards. So for now they will only get cutoff if the kill switch gets pulled. Other recommendation was a Vapor Sniffer, because of the high pressure fuel lines in the bilge. Also a 2nd bilge pump added 4 to 6 inches up on the transom as an aux. pump and connect a high water alarm as well. He was very impressed with the condition of the boat and don't see any problems with getting it insured. I JUST CAN'T WAIT!!!
