Fast Cat Insurance !
I can write a policy for these boats with a top speed of 160 mph with a licensed, admitted, and A rated US carrier at reasonable rates.I can access some non admitted surplus lines carriers for the higher speeds but I chose not to based on my past experiences with these types of companies.

There are a few that will write up to 160 mph. Big difference between 160 and 180 too. There are very, very few that will 'choose' to write a 180 mph boat. If you do find someone, you better be squeaky clean, have one hell of a history and every license known to man, and a chit-load of cash to throw towards insurance every year!

Go look at the video again of the Merc 1350 boat the speedo cannot spin fast enough to keep up with the acceleration.
Granted this boat is fast but the Merc 1350 is on a whole other level of performance...more like monster fassst.
Great video nevertheless!
