Sorry: getting old is tough.
Allez Vite was originally rigged with C & G 850's, and did not run 100. I built it to be a pleasure boat, but entered it in an OPT race in Grand Haven because it was near where I kept it (Saugatuck).
We had so much fun, and did so well, that we raced it for several seasons, but at the same time used it more as a pleasure boat (e.g. Ft. Lauderdale to Key West, Saugatuck to Chicago).
I switched to Carolina Racing in 1990, but she still would not break 100.
It was only after we switched to Merc 1000 SC's in 1991 that she ran 104 @ Lake X.
