unless yellow and graphics were stripped off, i would think you could get the old finish back to use as a pattern. sanding down the stern of my hatteras, i got the old name and homeport clear as day.

Did you get the boat? I thought it looked familiar. It was just on eBay.

That is the one. Not really in the market for ANOTHER boat now, especially one that needs a total resto (to bring her back to the way she was when i owned her) but then this is not just any boat. It didn't hit the reserve so I guess we will see what happens. The owner is a nice guy that is moving up to a bigger and newer boat so you never know.
