Following that logic if they post them like that the MOJO MTI that sold in 2008 for $200k was probably posted like that so it is misguiding I'll check...

Yup that's what they did...
So the boat, traiker and the Hummer was $550k back in 2008... My mistake in the earlier posts.

Boat--$192,500
http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...309&pop=0&it=1
Hummer--$192,500
http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...9.1&pop=0&it=1
Trailer--_$165,000
http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...9.2&pop=0&it=1

If anyone tried to pull a 39 MTI with that Hummer they are probably dead by now! I guess it's all about bling...

So it's a deal at $250k for the boat ( http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...303&pop=0&it=1 ) but a Vette ( http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...3.2&pop=0&it=1 )for $245k is a little steep and a trailer ( http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...3.1&pop=0&it=1 )for a quarter million is a serious azzrape!
I got that from the thread but the thread says 675k. That's must be a he'll of a traier and Vette. So your saying that theny simply divide thevsale price by three?

$675k plus 10% buyers premium--- $742.5 divided by three lots----$247.5k..

Don't expect them to prorate the value... After all they are only car salesman!!!

There is some good booze at those events...

A 2002 Ferrari 360 Convertible with low miles ( http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...9.2&pop=0&it=1 ) ...OK but $170k Even if Rick Hendrick sat his precious bottom in it..
When I shopped for my Lambo a member here had the same car for sale last year for $80k and there are a bunch of them for sale online under $90k.

I thought that was a bit much also, but maybe J.J. drove it also

How about that 63 mid engine vette? you couldn't even get the rolling chassis built for what it sold for.

...and this abortion ( http://www.barrett-jackson.com/appli...286&pop=0&it=1) for over $305k... Wow...

I have five engines like that in my office.... so I need to ..

...Grab a mill on the shop floor here...

...find a wrecked Cuda in a dump somewhere for $25k...

...Pay a good fabricator guy $75k-100k to slap it together...

...Slap on a jazzy paint job by a good artist... (what?? $50k)

http://www.hubgarage.com/mygarage/Murray/vehicles/56496

And I'm clearing $100k.... COOL!

So in comparison to the 308K Cuda and the 170K Ferrari the MTI combo looked like a steal!

Cuda must be fun to drive with that ridiculous motor obstructing your view......That Ferrari would be overpriced even if it was the better 430 model....

Even in a bad market the boat is worth 250k. I would of bought it for that price if I was there
