Saying Goodbye To A Fallen Policeman

http://video.ca.msn.com/watch/video/...onto/16abwcypl

Yesterday in Toronto a young policeman was laid to rest after losing his life in the line of duty.

You can tell by the funeral that this is a rare event in Canada and that when it happens the public and the police forces from around our two countries show unity for those that put their lives on the line every day.

Seen to many, while it may be rare in Canada it happened often in NY.

R.I.P.

Godspeed Sgt. Ryan Russell. It's a sad shame that some low-life p.o.s. had to take this good man's life in such a senseless manner.

A Police Officer was shoot and killed this week in Livonia , MI. The only good news was that the suspect was shot and killed and they don't have to feed and lodge him.

Very Sad time for Law Enforcement, I have been serving for 23years and 2 months, we have been told that the assassination of Lakewood Officer Christopher Matiosz was gang retaliation from the bloods, and that the bloods plan on killing more Officers. Be safe and stay armed Brothers.

My condolences Alec... :(

We laid to rest one of our own yesterday and the support of the officers from around the world was something I never personally experienced. A true brotherhood...

More tragedy yesterday in Miami- 2 officers killed when they were serving a murder warrant on a 23 yr old suspect with 5 pages of criminal history. Don't quite know why there were only 4 officers sent to serve a murder warrant on a guy like that, sounds like SWAT should have been serving it, or at least 8 officers. Only good thing is suspect was killed also, but nowhere close to making up for 4 children without a mother or father coming home.

Update: Appears the officers went to the front door and knocked asking to be let in the house, gained entrance, and were then shot. Suspects rap sheet included 5 drug charges, 2 armed robberies, resisting arrest, and the warrant for murder. How do we let these guys out of prison in the 1st place, this bum should have never seen the light of day. May he rot in hell.

Also, Dade Co. PBA is now accepting donations for the family of these fallen heroes. http://www.wsvn.com/news/articles/local/21003331949989/
