You gotta think that that person is either very stupid or very smart to get away with something like that.

Just goes to show the audacity of thieves.
Their boldness overwhelms me.
2 years ago I had a portable generator, air compressor, and a nail gun stolen out of the back of my dually in a Home Depot parking lot one block from my shop. After walking up to my truck and seeing the missing tools I saw one of their employees retreiving lumber carts and shopping carts nearby. I asked him if he saw anything and he said yeah I saw 3 guys taking the tools and putting them into a blue truck and leaving. I was like did you walk their direction or try to holler at them or anything and he said no I see construction workers occasionally swapping tools between trucks and didn't give it a thought. I always wondered if they cased the place waiting for opportuinities like this and pounced.
This happened in the middle of the day with witnesses in an upscale area where we live. It didn't even meet my deductible and I had to eat the replacement tools.
Phucking thieves, I hate 'em all.

See ya,
Kelly

side bar: If this was to happen again or to those that have not had it happen yet... go inside and ask to see the surveilance footage then, call the police immediately... ALMOST all stores have their lots covered by cameras now and most police if they catch one lead, can useally catch or break up a complete ring.

back to the stolen boat...

seems like it would be a good idea to put a lojack type chip on all boats in Florida
