25- 29 Warlocks can take the Lake Erie chop no problem. 27 has a great cabin for overnighting . Not the fastest single out there but can sure take the rough stuff

I have a Velocity 260 and it handles Erie quite well. The Velocity 260 has one of the deepest Cockpits I have seen in a boat that size (and larger). It is fast and fairly easy on gas as well. Not to mention it is NOT a common boat in the Great Lakes.... Definately stands out in a crowd. Also this may ruffle some Baja Outlaw owners feathers, but the 260 Velocity, hands down, is a much smoother ride across Erie. I have riden in a few Outlaws both the 24' and 25', and the Velocity (even with its rather flat "Pad" bottom) reenters the water much softer. I am not a Baja hater! I am a previous Baja owner...

A boat that will turn heads

If you want a boat that rides great and you do not see everywhere, look at this. It is a cat and a v-hull and gives you the best of both worlds.

Lake Erie would eat that boat up. Not to mention the operators spine....

and a limited cabin . I would tend to go with the longer of your preferred range as it would give you more cabin and a better ride on Erie.

Here is a picture of what I ment. This is taken out on Lake St. Clair last summer. Obviously the
White Boat is my Velocity 260. Notice how high the windshield is. It comes up to my neck (I am 5'9")
and I am standing up. The picture is being taken from my Friends Formula 272. Now notice where the
windshield is in relation to his chest (he is same height)...... The Velocity is AT LEAST 6"-8" deeper
of a cockpit
