Nada pricing. Order isnt that tall. I think on this website pricing is blown up a little. Outside of this site there are many geat deals.
That's 6k above your spending limit AND your not including sales tax, transport, little fixes, and all that other things that go wrong with a 5 year old boat (batteries, ignition, bearings, tires, gauges, rust removing, old ripped covers). Don't forget you're gonna need rebuilds in the next couple years 10k-15k! Let's add, thats probably a 78mph boat. Maybe low 80's, but not you're high 80's low 90's asking. *yawn*

I saw these. Nice boats, but my bank is insisting on a 2004 or newer.

Lone info appreciated also? I can find great deals on 01 02 boats but wont have enough funds? Bank will only loan 20K if older than 04..

The old Eliminator 300xp's run low 90's with twin 500's and are 50K all day. Like new..

I think the fountains, scarrab's and several other popular builds are outdated and need (needed in 2005) change/updating.

Im looking to spend 50,000 to 80,000 depending on what is out there which I have 25,000 cash to put up cash.

Looking for opinions and to gain knowledge so please leave input.. (No cats or outboards please. Not my style)

Also, Loan info and Ins. info appreciated. Teach me what you learned so I dont make the same mistakes!

Thanks in advance. Larry....
You should be able to get a great boat for that much. I think you should start with a credit union for a loan. I have found Stacy at Wake Zone and Cy Goldberg both easy to deal with on insurance. Both can be found in the insurance section here. You might consider what drive you get on a boat as it will determine how dependable it is and how fast you can go. I had a 90+mph 23' Eliminator and wanted to go faster, so about 5 months, I bought a 28' foot Daytona with twin 496ho mags and Bravo drives. I love the boat and my plan was to make the boat go faster than the stock engines would push it. After really researching the whole re-power/hop up deal, I found the drives were the weak link and could not reliably handle the power and it was almost cheaper to just buy a new boat with stronger drives than change engines and drives. Moral is go slow and spend time reading here and other sites to find what you really want in a go fast boat. Read about all the problems people have with their drives when power is put to them. Maybe you can get a good deal on a boat with #6 drives if it is a little older. Just my opinion.
