43 Cigarette
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Did Cigarette build a 43 around the year 83 or 84. I have what appears to be a full set of plans for a 43ft Cig. I also have a partial set of plans for a 87 Top Gun. The plans for the 43 were drawn by Wynne Marine Inc. I went on line to see if they were still around, however there is a company with the same name in Spain, but I'm sure not the same. The plans for the Top Gun does not have a company name, however they were drawn by a gentleman name JA Morris. Does that ring a bell with anyone? On the drawing of the 43, the drawers names are RC Anderson and R Larson. Any information would be appreciated. Robert Any pics? |

Where in the world would you get those?

I was in charge of building the Top Gun. JA Morris is probably Jim Muir, who styled it. 43 was the worst Cigarette ever built. No lateral stability.

Brownie would know. I think JA Morris was Jerome Morris he worked there when I was there and did the wiring diagrams of all the models we had then. I have copies of all the late 80's wiring diagrams and J.A. Morris did do them.
There is a 43' huntress for sale at a Marina on Rt84- Marina mile in Ft. Lauderdale $99,000. It did not have the fly bridge in the above pictures. |
