The kit for your insta trim comes complete with everything you'll need; the gauge, pickups and wiring. The pickups snap on over the rams. Easy to install. Price is not bad too. I bought a kit thru an ebay marine dealer.

I just found a guage on eBay. But I will need the whole kit it sounds like. Do you remember where/who you got the kit from and what you paid? Just wanted a ball park..

Ill look it up Sun nite when I get back. But yes, you will need the complete kit. I tend to recall teh complete kit wasn't too much more than the gauge itself. I wanna say it was right at $200

I actually bought mine from Harlee Rod (another ebay site) for $224 last winter, but the kit from Nuwave looks to be the best going rate today. I've purchaced 3 new Merc drives from Nuwave without a hitch, so they get a kudos from me.
