Thats what I was thinking maybe even mid 60's. I can get a really good deal on this one but I think its because of the power. I was thinking of running it for a year and selling but I would never get rid of it unless I gave it away.

I think Verbi is closer... that boat is way too heavy for small blocks, IMO. And you're right, it will be sale proof if you ever want to unload it. I would hold out for big blocks.

I thought he was looking for high 80's low 90's a week or so ago.
Turbo had me laughing on his reply.

Sheer Insanity,
I'm right there in the hunt with you, every time I think I've narrowed down my criteria I end up changing my mind with my wishy washyness, LOL!!!
Good luck in your search, I'm certain your boat is out there.
My guess on that boat would be around 60+-, but I could be wrong.

See ya,
Kelly

Merc 6.2's are 320 HP. My '06 292 Formula runs 70 mph. 40-50 mph cruise at 1.8-2.0 mpg. Twin steps and 7500 lbs. Don't know how they do in a Baja 30.

Thanks. I have been researching the Outlaws but still no exact #'s. My guess from what I have found it should top out between 65-70 mph. The baja is 6900 lbs so maybe it will touch 70?

Have you had any problems with your 6.2's? I hear they are efficent and very reliable with bravos behind them?

I wanted faster but for the price I might enjoy this one for a while and save up cash.
