Thats interesting...... That'd be cool. After a month of owning my gopro I went online and bought a 32g class 4 SD card. Im consistently able to get 2.5 hours-3hours before the battery dies and I still have 8-10gigs left. Anyone know how much bigger the new battery is?

What resolution setting are you using for 2.5 hours? Also, seems to take forever to upload vids to youtube.

I believe I'm on 1080p. If thats impossible, its 960p. The 2g card that came with it was a JOKE! Camera lasted maybe 25 minutes on the lowest setting. Less than 10 minutes with 1080p. What a rip off. Don't buy the 16g or 32g from them either. I bought my 32g class 4 off another site for $67 shipped. The uploading takes between 20-35 minutes and thats about 22.14g worth of stuff.

Total set up:
$350 for the camera (shipped and taxed)
$65 for battery back (shipped and taxed)
$117 for LCD screen (shipped and taxed)
$140 for 64g Class 4 SD card (shipped and taxed) http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Secure.../dp/B003FVG3PC
$670 total for a freakin camera. Sorry to say this, though the camera takes good video....... the company is a complete rip off. I would advise ANYONE and EVERYONE to stay away from this brand. For Christ sake, they charge you for fog inserts because you couldn't use the camera for more than 10 minutes without the thing clouding up. They make you buy every little thing seperatley. Dollar for dollar, I'd say this is the worste valued camera on the market. And despite all this crap, I have to hand over another $20 so my $625 camera can operate without fogging up. Proof.

Rethinking this idea. Whats the point in paying $50 for a battery and charger? The charging is no different than if you were to plug in your computer. Its actually a complete waste unless you want it on for over 7.5 hours. That would take almost 66gigs on 1080p. Allow me to explain. 1 battery - 2.5 hours. Start off with two batteries and the charger. Use 1 battery up (2.5hours, 22.14gigs), use the 2nd battery while first is charging (5hours, 44.28 gigs), use the recharged battery (7.5 hours, 66.42gigs). Why not just spend $20 and get another battery?

I've had no problem with my camera fogging up. I use it snowboarding all winter and go from cold, into a nice warm bar, then back out and the case hasnt fogged up on me once! I spent the $50 on the battery backpack, which includes a second batter, 2 new rear doors for the case and a USB cable. When you spend the day outside and its 10 to 20 degrees the one battery only lasts for about half the day...i usually run out of battery before i fill an 8gig card. Its not the flaw of the company, its the fact that a battery just wont hold a charge long in that kind of temperatures!
I really think everything is pretty reasonably priced and you get plenty of mounts and accessories when you buy the camera, the other accessories should be seperate. There are some of them that i'd never use and would be a waste of money.
I reccomend anyone to buy this camera, its easy to use, shoots awesome video and i think its reasonbly priced!
here's an example of what i've shot this winter
this was on a cloudy day
