New Yanamar V8's in the Nor-Tech 390CC

Trying to get it finished to have at the Miami Show.
These are the first set of the new 380HP engines with Yanmar's own dual prop outdrive. First test today was good but we are way under propped however this looks very promising. Top speed was 54 mph but we'll get to at least 60 with the right set. Very little load on the motors and went to 4000 RPM. It also planed on one motor. The interesting thing is the fuel burn even with the light props. Check out the screen shots. Because of the nature and width of the motors the hard core fish guys aren't going to be too happy with an engine hatch to walk over but there's a great swim platform covering the drives to make for an awesome cruising dive boat. Things are hectic as we're finishing up for the show so I won't have much time for responses or questions. The boat will be at the Yanmar dock at the Marriott for the show. Stop by and check it out. And happier today.
Running over 60 mph and still on the rev limiter. What is the price difference between this and a triple OB boat? |

Are these the outdrives, Terry? I saw them at the Miami show 2 years ago, and thought that they looked pretty good.
