HOW CAN A P-3 BOAT WIN THEIR CLASS IN MARATHON WHEN THEIR AVERAGE SPEED IS OVER 90 MPH?
|
Hmmm...
Could you please elaborate. I know the rules and speeds, but was there an particular offender? |
John,
Good observation. The second place boat also broke out, both should be DQ. This information is based on the speeds posted on APBA's website. BOB G. |
results
..I can't get the results page to open on the APBA site today..??
|
WOW- your right
mike |
Thanks, I found it too.
Either a typo, or 2 boats are supposed to be DQ'd:eek: |
One has to wonder if APBA's results are accurate, They have the Supercat winner as averaging 90.99 mph, they have the SuperV twin averaging 101.23- something does not seem to add up...?

I OWN BIGOAKSOFFSHORE.COM A 42FT FOUNTAIN, I WON P2 IN MARATHON ON SATURDAY . BOTH THE P3 BOATS THAT PLACED 1ST & 2ND WERE VERY FAST. P-87 AT ONE POINT PASSED ME WHEN A F1 BOAT HAD A MISSHAP.WE ALL SPEND A LOT OF MONEY GOING TO THESE RACES....... FAIR IS FAIR ........I KNOW HOW FAST MY FOUNTAIN IS AND IT BELONGS IN P2.....THEY KNOW WHERE THEY REALLY BELONG!
|
In other words, It's not a typo?...
