Default Help a fellow boater reach his dream and move up

Okay guys we need your help. Like all of you our friend Jay would like to move up in size but has a boat that he either must trade in or sell out right. He feels the boat market is to soft to sell or get a reasonable trade. I say not so and I figured if I came to our brothers her on OSO someone could point him in a direction or know of someone who would be interested in insanely clean ride. Most of Jay's buddies have moved up to 38' plus boats so he needs to do the same, you know how the illness goes. Anyways Jay is looing for a Fountain, Cigarette, Donzi etc. Jay's current boat is a 2007 Fastech 292 with only 175 adult driven hours with upgraded premium graphics. Boat has 5 year factory Formula Guard warranty.. Boat is MINT inside and out and is meticulously maintained and is a one owner. A REAL 9.5 out of 10! Always trailered, cleaned, and covered everytime out. Never left in water overnight. Comes with reliable twin Merc 350 Mag EFI's, and Bravo 1 drives and has a top end of 70 mph on GPS. The boat has all chrome bezels, throttles, and switches, 8" chrome slash cut pipes, mirrored hatch, Corsa Quick & Quite exhaust, bow docking lights, factory snap-in cockpit carpet, Garmin GPS, Kenwood CD and Sirius stereo w/ 3 remotes and I-POD hook up. The boat has a head that has never been used, along with a fresh water handheld shower. Comes with matching factory cockpit and bow cover.
This package also includes a 2007 Manning painted, dual axle trailer in excellent condition.

So help us out what are your thoughts?

Frank you know how that game works. If your trading for something even then expect low numbers and if your trading on a million dollar boat they will tell Jay they'll allow him $150k for his boat

292's are tough and prices are all over the map. 6.2's are the more desired motor but really think we are only dealing with 2mph difference on the top end (have to look at my notes for cruise speed differences). As a comparison there was a 2007 with the same paint, similar options, trailer but had the 6.2's with I think 100 or less hours asking 67k not too long ago.
