Where is Activator??

Up and running in Bridgeport, CT, Northeast Performance Marine Group / Rage Powerboats just completed their new 28' Sport available in single big block, twin small block configuration or outboard power. Also offering a lifetime hull warranty. Rage Powerboats has recently purchased all Activator boat molds. Currently updating the 22' and 30' models with plans for a 36' and 42' model. Here are a few pictures of the new 28':

Who is Angelo Grimaldi?

Stormrider 02-22-2011 12:14 PM

Very cool...
and twin SBC? You can squeeze them in?

rageman28 02-22-2011 12:32 PM

Angelo Grimaldi became a partner in 2005 with Mark Schnepf; the original owner and designer of all Activator Boats. In 2007 Angelo bought out Mark's interest in Activator. In 2007 Mark then set up shop at Northeast Performance Marine in Bridgeport, CT doing raceboat conversions and custom paintwork. In 2009 development of the new 28' Rage was started. In January 2011 the opportunity arose for Northeast Performance Marine Group to purchase the Activator molds. Thus began Rage Powerboats.

Stormrider, as for twin small blocks...no squeezing involved the boat is 8ft wide, plenty of room.
