Default What's a good price for a 28' Pantera??

I've got a question for the pros and general power boating crowd out there. I am thinking of selling my Pantera 28' and getting a 26' MercPanga with a diesel. We opened up a bar/restaurant and I want to run my boat on the left over cooking oil- might sound crazy to some of you( we own an eco-resort), but it's what I want to do! My main question, and the opinions I'd like to get, concern what I could sell the Pantera for. It's a 1999, all white, twin 6.2's (240 hours), full MM steering, K-planes, sea Strainers, and all composite seat bases. It's in good but not perfect shape and has been lift stored. I owe $48 on the boat and will keep it before taking a big loss. So the question is....what will this boat bring?

"Conch Fritter" would be the best cologne for around here! We may have stumbeled on a new business here... great taste with no calories!

I hate to say it, but getting $48K for that boat will be tough, probably closer to $30K

I'm thinking your going to be owning it for awhile......like rchevelle I'm thinking low $30's at best in the states but don't know what the market in the Bahamas might bring.

Any body with a MercPanga Diesel for a partial trade? Or any diesel ....

Love the Pantera so it won't be so bad to keep it either- but I'd rather just own one boat at a time!

I don't think you could sell it for what you owe. Maybe 40k if you are lucky.

I think you are in the 35-38K range for your boat, on a side note a friend of mine has been talking to a buyer from the bahamas on his 28' Nordic, is there a big market for a 28' go fast over there? seems more like a center console fish boat market. This guy is kinda dicking around so I'm still not convinced he's not a scammer.
