Unfortunately, due to an unforseen delay, our new Gladiator was not ready to run in Ft. Myers. But, due to the kindness of the folks at Lip-Ship Performance and Rio Roses, we had a boat to use in Ft. Myers anyway. They let us take the 33' Rio Roses Cigarette. It was not the Cigarette that we were planning to take, but it was an incredible gesture of trust and kindness and still got us as close as we could get to the racing without having our race boat there. Lynch Mob Racing would like to thank Lip-Ship and Rio Roses for the incredible hospitality they offered us in Ft. Myers. Thank you!

Check out the photo gallery for more pictures from Ft. Myers. Sorry for the lack of race day pics, but it was pouring rain!

Fever Mike: I believe that the 33 Cafe weighs somewhere around 6000 pounds. This one had a pair of 250 Mercs hanging on the stern and handled really well. We did not get a top speed run because it was really rough on Saturday and pouring rain on Sunday. We were hesitant about dunking their trailer in the salt water and there was a lifting harness in the boat so we used the crane. It does look strange to see a center console on the straps, but it was built with lifting eyes on the stern and on the top deck (just like Cigarette uses on the race boats) so we used them! That was one awesome boat. The fit and finish was perfect...typical Cigarette....and it handled the seas like all Cigarettes. If you are looking for a boat in this class I would definately recommend the 33 Cafe Cigarette!!

Too Old: I will post some pictures of the new Gladiator after it's debut. We have no secrets to hide, but we want its first public apperance to be at a race site. Not too much longer...I promise!
