Its time for me to move over and let the next generation come rite on by me
I have left a great legacy behind to be compared to
1) There are at least 75% more powerboats boating hear locally now
2) Powerboats are slowly getting a better reputation everyday in this area
3) Thanks to Mark Godsey committment the promotion of safety on powerboats and giving back to the community has started to take hold in our community (its what you do for kids people remember)
I look forward to many years of watching people enjoy our lake as much as I have for over 35 years
Thanks Mark I feel great every time your alsome poker run Fountain rumbles by me
happy and safe boating to you
Your friend
Gerald

There are plenty of places to get fuel on land. 93 on the water is not available. There are a few places around town w no ethanol in the gas but not easy to find nowadays. Glad your going to make it!!

My boat will be running the 680 HP 565 ci Ron Sporl Motor. One of the other boats is running another Ron Sporl 565 with a whipple on it. One of my other customers may be coming with his Precision Marine 540 with a whipple as well.
We are looking forward to it but I am concerned about fuel. We have 80 gallons on board and I am not sure that if we play around at all that we can make it back. What fun is a poker run if you dont get to slam the sticks occasionally. We are all running on 93.

What you can do is make the second stop your first. Which is 30 miles from the start. Thats 60 miles round trip. If thats too much you can make the 3rd stop your first which is 20 miles from start. Run what you can run and of course we want you to have as much fun as possible slamming on the sticks!!!
