I'm with you, Tom. 100 bucks plus dealing with Friday night airport traffic ain't in my future. Not to mention you'll see much of the same stuff in the Park on Sunday (minus the planes).
The street party is okay, though not really a big deal. We call it First Friday, as they close off Central Ave on the first Friday of every month for a little partying. It's hit or miss depending on which radio station hosts it and what the entertainment is. Nonetheless, it's fun people watching. Cigdaze is spot on with the 1st friday party. It's either really good or really bad. Although I've gone a few times and it's been pretty fun. If you guys are from out of town I suggest you go to it, it should be a fun experience especially with people knowing that the florida powerboat club is in town for the weekend I'm sure it will draw a big crowd to 1st friday party as well as the other events throughout the weekend. Have a safe weekend to those who are going! |
I don't think it'll fly as high with AJ in it....
