[QUOTE=Tom A.;3367862]Albert was in his own boat, Terminator. He also had his Lazzaro (sp.) yacht. We had a great run on Saturday with my friend Dr. Gabe in his 42 Outerlimits. After lunch, my friend Pete and I got to spend the afternoon with Terry Sobo on a new Nor-Tech 39 Center Console. That is an amazing boat and by far the nicest CC I have ever been on. Kudos on the boat and thanks for a great afternoon!
Here are a few pics of the day before our camera broke!
Thanks Tom,
Glad to have you.
What a great day and awesome run. The Tampa Bay area has a lot going on.
Here's a shot of a new 390 that we delivered for the run.

Last few pictures!
Almost forgot Nor-Tech had some amazing pieces there as well including Gold Rush.
Nice to see the guys from Donzi as well (Craig, Dave and Josh)
Some real nice cars were around the hotel for the Festival of Speed as well! Nothing like have a blue carbon fiber 1200hp, $2.4 million car to greet your guests!

Hey Terry,
Here are the last two CC pics. I am trying to see if we have any more pics from the day but Pete's camera decided to quit before the lunch stop. Again, Thanks for a great day.

Thanks Tom. It was great seeing you. That really was a nice event. Stu and his folks did an excellent job. The hardware was impressive to say the least as was the talent of the drivers and throttlemen. Tampa Bay and the Gulf were a little bumpy and the seas were confused in spots but everyone ran hard and safe. We had a blast. Almost felt like racing...almost.

DEFINITELY some nice hardware there! I'm downloading some pics to my computer to post up which I took of all the boats there. Does anyone know if terry sobo has a son? At jackson's I was sitting next to a guy that I overheard saying his dad design's all these boats, I believe he was in a red and black cat with two other guys, cool people. You all definitely brought some good excitement to the bay area

My son was there but he was in my CC.
I'd don't think I should get any credit for the "design's all these boats" if in fact it was my son you overheard.
The real designer is Nils Johnsen. I gave all of my ideas to Nils on the CC's but he's the one that made it look good.

Some peeps must think Terry's life is something to die for with all the boating etc.
But first thing Sunday AM , there he was heading for his display boat sitting in the middle of a car show in the park next to the Vinoy.
Theres a lot more to it than PR and testing. The last thing I would want to do the next morning after a PR is stand up all day answering dumb questions from a bunch of tire kickers at a hot rod show.
BTW. Does anyone have details on the black CIG that was there with the white engine cover area. Saw it running in the bay on Saturday.
What a stunning paint concept...and the thing was a rocket.

That boat was the canopied kilo run boat from a few years ago. It was converted into a poker run boat called "Strength and Honor" or something like that with a patriotic theme. I am not sure how it ended up back at Cigarette (trade in maybe) and was refitted and repainted and shown at the boat show two years ago with the black and white paint scheme. It is very cool and is one of the first ones I remember seeing using matte finish in place of another color creating the cool black on black look.
