Its not what you like  Its what the boat wants and driveability , spin them out on that 36 and she may feel like your azz is sliding across ICE

Bill,
It sounds like you would start spinning them in? The only way to tell which way is best is to try both ways? Does out provide more bow lift and make the boat loose?
Thanks, Dan

As on another thread many years ago... :bigbird:

"Out, stern lift
In, bow lift.
Docking manueverability is
poor when turning in,
( whichever one is in reverse,
doesn't seem to pull )"

So raise those drives a little with props turning in when docking and it helps a lot with maneuverability.

I've been told ,on cats, it's opposite.
in stern lift, out bow lift.

Wow,
There sure is a difference of opinion here! I guess this why I have not been able to figure this out.

I would call Eliminator!
My cat works better over all turning out.
But i am mild power and all stock,
I tried turing in and yes I was able to gain speed I lost a crap load of handling around docks and such.
Seems to me it took longer to plan turning in as well.

I don't think it matters much as long as you spinn them really, really, really Fast:evilb:

It kind of has to do with which side of the gearcase is
running more submerged, and what the prop swing
( up or down) is doing on that side of the gearcase.
