I was in the same situation 2 years ago. Knowing what I know know, I'd get a 24/7 or a 28' with a single. Way easier to work on and cheaper.

Cat for all out speed and has super high insurance cost.
V hull good speed, cabin, sunpad, swim platform, much lower insurance. V hull was a better all round boat for me.

Buy a boat cash and have money to use it, getting in debt will not make you any happier out on the water because you will want more. Have a 100,000 boat, you want a 300,000. Have a 500,000 and you need a 800,000 etc.
