Might have been a poker run. Some runs they are required with no exceptions. I got stuck like that once on a friends 42 Fountain when they first started enforcing it. Felt like a doofus . . . . . but rules are rules. I assume its required per insurance for the event.

You do if you show up at the run not knowing you need to wear them. Seen it happen at Emerald Coast.

Phuck that I would have ran down to the West Marine and spent a little money before I would be seen in those...:lolhit:

They need those really big shoes and red-ball noses to complete the ensemble...

Actually, though - you can see how that could happen if the boat owner wasn't expecting such a requirement - but if you were doing poker runs and expecting to be running at speed with passengers - well....I think I would have had something a litle more, uh - appropriate - for them to wear...:eek:

I only own a little 85 mph Donzi but you will NOT find a bag of those things on board! I have burned more effective jackets than those....
