But a Farr 40 / Mumm 30 are purpose built race boats, so it makes sense having an open back when you are racing in big seas instead of scuppers. This boat seems like its just a weird deisgn haha

I would take all the decals off the engine cover and alter the shape in some way and paint it the color of the boat.

I had some boats planned for a fish farm where they had to work close and keep the prop out of harms way.
