Bought this '00 Scarab Sport in August, and used it until it was too cold. Then it was minor upgrade time.

Some changes aren't real noticeable, so here is the list: 10" Garmin chartplotter Garmin sounder New VHF & AM/FM ant Tilt helm Steering cylinder re-finished lower part of motors TFXtreme 33C cables Livorsi Throttles Blue bezels, cup holders, wheel, trim tab plate GPS Speedo Pioneer stereo w/ remote JL MHD600/4 & MHD750 amps 3 JL 10" woofers JL component speakers different boot stripe New lower and tinted windshield Cleaned it up proper like Cleaned up messy wiring The best part - I found lots of these items for cheap on the net. Most were brand new sealed parts that the buyer never used. I didn't spend more than $2K! |

Great job as usual. Remember you wanted a simple/easy boat you didn't have to sweat over all the time........what happened? :)

Didn't sweat over it. This was fun stuff, and it beats sitting on couch watching TV. I wanted to get away from the maintenance, washing/waxing, fear of damaging paint, HAVING to fix engines, HAVING to repair this or that.
I got the CC where I want it, and now it is time to use it and have fun. |
