Matt is correct. Concern about losing a motor and then not being able to steer the boat with the rudder. If you are on one motor, and you try and go fast enough to turn the boat, you load the motor with fuel and can lose the second motor. I prefer the two speed trani's and the ability to dock on one motor if needed.
