not necessarily in marine conditions... the prop load on the water is higher and the Rpm changes.

Banks must be having problems with that 800hp Duramax because I see nothing about it anywhere, or maybe he's still dialing it in and keeping it secret.

Duramax lower end is the culprit.. you turn it up and it goes pretzels..
A guy over here has managed to get over 1000ftlbs out of his truck and 860 hp.. runs high 9's on the quarter... but the lower end is all aftermarket...

1000 ft/lbs and max 860 hp ? ,must be programmed in the ecm to turn low boost at lower rpm,s , cause it would make a whole lot more than that if this engine can make 860 hp .
My 5,9 L cummins makes around 500 hp at 52 psi boost with twins ,and does about 1050 ft/lbs
If it really makes 860 hp ,max torque would be more like 1500ft/ lbs
