Default Center Console T-Top question

What exactly is a T-Top on a CC. What style roof do you prefer and why? I'm aware of obviously the canvas top, the solid top, I like the sunroof style that Nor-Tech head-on the gray CC, and I have heard of the T-Top but I don't think I have seen a picture of one. Is there any style Im not aware of? Thanks

T-Tops are usally fastened close to or on the console so you can walk all around the boat with a fishing rod. There are other tops that attach to the gunnels like a radar arch.

I fish hard with the boat so a T-top is a must, for a CC where you cruise the gunnels mounts are nice, it provides a nice hand hold.

I like the canvas top, no reason other than "old school" appeal with the cord wrapped around the rail, all my other boats with a tuna tower or half tower had canvas tops so I just like it.

The hard tops are must better though when you have an enclosure it can seal tight to a hard top, it will never make a tight seal with canvas top but again I don't mind getting wet, a little water coming through when it's real rough doesn't bother me as we have rain gear on anyway.

Hope that helps?

Canvas top could mold if not taken care of but they are lighter than fiberglass, owner preference

Chuck are you going to have a T top or an arch with a bimini like the blue one?

http://www.birdsallmarine.com/ I personaly like the big fiberglass hardtop. You can get some cool led's , other options and access the roof with the built in ladder.

I had found a picture of a Marlago with an arch with a hard top.
