I was at the races boring myself to tears, and if anyone cheated, at least that would have made it exciting.

The truth is that there was no race...11 boats, two of them broke, and two drivers were in two boats each that could not run at the same time....
Soooo, it was like watching paint dry

From what I understand the boat in question was set - up for P-1 on Saturday, but the organizers begged everyone to run on Sunday too so that there would be a few boats on the anemic race course....

From my perspective all the race teams that showed up, spent lots of time money and energy to race, should be applauded for doing their best to put on a show for the spectators...

I guess they should have DQ'd in P1 also because if you read the rules the rev limit is set for 5800 in Super Vee Single.

All due respect....who really cares?

There were boats running by themselves in their own class...All they had to do was start the race to win....It was a joke!

I think the spectators would have goten more value for their money paying to watch the poker run fleet do a fly-by...

Seems to me that if you want to complain about cheating, maybe it ought to be in a setting thats meaningful.

OSS race in Biloxi with less than 10 boats? Snoozefest...So not meaningful in any way...

All the best,
Hans

I just don't get it. Dr Janssen is supposedly a first class orthopedic spine surgeon and is affilated with The Center For Spinal Disorders. Brian Forehand was a very well thought of employee of Fountain Powerboats. Together they have been caught cheating, not once but twice, at 2 races in a row. These once highly respected individuals' egos are so high that crossing the finish line first is the most important thing to them? Janssen is definitely setting some fine examples for his son and daughter. If they were fined or banned from racing, I wonder if their egos would be any different? Sad!!!
