I used to run the VR1 20w50 till I smoked a flat tappet in one of my 575's.... Had the oil tested in that engine and the other and the zinc levels were half of what was publicized... just an FYI.. I dont have to worry abou that now.. full rollers and switched to Brad Penn...

Was that the conventional? I believe the full synthetic is pretty new?


I found it at Advance Auto using the locator, and my local OReilly had it for $5 a quart (they weren't listed on the locator though). So throw in a Wix and I'm in for oil for $16 this year.
