My Dad & his GF were on there way back from Table Rock, headed to KS. He said they were about 10 miles N of Joplin when the tornado hit. They were a little confused as to how plywood and shingles were falling from the sky at 1st. He said they thought they were birds until they got closer to them. Then the oh sh!t button got pushed and they found themselves looking for a ditch to take cover in.

Scary stuff! Thoughts and prayers to everyone involved.
This video is mainly sound, but it is amazing how the first wave of noise was not the worst part of what they were about to get hit with.
