I consider it disrespectful to come over here or @ RDP and post threads under the "mask" of being interested in the competitors community, unlike yourself.
I don't post threads at Performance Boats or RDP comparing PB's stats or website to yours. You seem obsessed with PerformanceBoats.com based on your comments on your site and what I hear from some clients.
Every business has a start up cost. It is true that I have invested more than $1M into PB. I guess what matters is how many more coins I can get from begging on Las Vegas Blvd. with my coffee cup wearing my RDP apparel.
Earlier in this thread, I believe Matt had someone call attention to the size of my ego. Unfortunately I now realize that many people in the boating community just don't really know me. I worked very hard to get where I have been and am going. I worked two jobs for thirteen years to get to this point.
You presuming to know my financial status or future plans is presumptous, disrespectful and ridiculous.
RE: reporting on the sale of Powerboat, I presume you are stating your opinion from information gathered from your new apprentice, Tank. I will presume that he doesn't know everyone that I know and that I don't know everyone he knows. Tank's been working with Powerboat for a year or so. 1986 was my first year at Hot Boat.
As a small business and new venture, Performance Boats Magazine has outlasted Hot Boat, Extreme and it appears, Powerboat, for now.
Hot Boat and Powerboat were owned by significantly larger corporations. So you and others find fault with my dedication to the magazine?? Sportboat, which has published two issues is now the best alternative? Wow.
I think Matt is really dedicated and talented at what he does. But for whatever reason he appears to have disdain for me.
I suppose what I despise are two-faced people with a hidden agenda. I could call you a lot of names but what would be the point. You would still be who you appear to be, which is good enough.
Today for me started at 7:30 am shipping the July issue of PB. I then drove to Lake Havasu and met with Tim from Oregon Custom Marine and several other clients, caught a ride with Ray Lee in his 2750 Lavey and then drove back to Las Vegas to finish up the mag. Another long day but worth it to me.
Sincerely

Hey Shark
Cute on resume' comment.
Your work is incredible as always and still consider you one of our photographers. You are listed in the masthead last time I checked.
We have been tight with our photography budgets but still get photography from a variety of sources; you, Jeff Girardi and couple others. Things starting to improve in the industry and with magazine.
Will see you in Miami.

Sunny Isles should be awesome with a Triple Header this year !
2 days of Racing and a FPC Poker Run in between !
It can't get much better than that !
