obsessed,
Well I boat mainly on lake michigan wondering how it would handle 1-3's also if you know of anything specific that I should look for?
Guy says boat was cleared by a previous owner. Does anyone know why you would clear a boat with gel coat graphics?

Norther Offshore is right. They were built in Shiwano or Shauno (sp?) Wisconsin. 93-95 or 94-96, I dont quite remember. I was also told they are based off of an eliminator. I also boat primarly on Lake Michigan, and did with that boat. Give me a call at 847-613-7319 and I can tell you a hand full of things to look for. Overall, it was great boat..

These boats started out being called "legend boats", they were built up north in WI, my father had a 1991 Legend built with a 500HP Baker engine which would run right at 80 and I still have the brochure from way back, we have also owned a 26' AO and they are nothing at all alike. The Obsession is a great boat, its much heavier, has more free board, and the center sponson is in the water until about 70mph. You take water in the face a lot in that boat! Ours was on LOTO and handled the water just fine, I dont think you could break that boat if you wanted to. Very well built, but heavy! The AO handles a lot better in corners and is a faster hull all together.
