502 Heads?
I've recieved some great advice on here before and I've got another question. My mechanic had to pull my motor because of some rusty crusty manifolds that we were replacing, and the further he gets the more work their seems to be. The heads are looking pretty crusty as well and I'm trying to find out what the best bang for the buck heads are or where to source some reconditioned heads. It's 502 Mag with EFI. Any info would be great. Thanks for the help

I'll check it thanks man!!!

Was it a salt water boat??? If not, I find it hard to believe that the heads are that corroded that they can't be boiled and cleaned up and have a valve job, guides and springs installed.

It wasn't supposed to be..........it was my first boat so this has been a learning experience.

I found edelbrock heads on summit for wayyyy cheaper than I'd seen them anywhere else. I may go with them if mine aren't able to be salvaged.

I have a set of bare casting gm rect gen 5 cylinder heads for sale if you need them. They were on a fresh water cooled motor. Tom
