Looks sweet man!
The accident he's referring to is here: http://www.offshoreonly.com/forums/g...pped-boat.html I ran across it a couple weeks ago and it really sticks in your mind. -Rob |

Sick,
The engine looks great. Let us know how fast you are running. I just repowered my 24' Race Sunsation, 606 Lock'd Up Bandit. I think this is the crash Griff is talking about: http://youtube.com/watch?v=SUf8RCCC_Mc Link fixed Does your boat chine walk real bad? Why do the aggressors do that so bad? Mine does running 65mph if I run into side rollers. |
Narrow beam. With the torque you always have to drag one tab. I ran mine for a few hundred hours in all water. Never felt scared but can see with big power how fast you can get in trouble fast...

I don't think he is talking about a race boat. There was an OSO member "Kook" that had an accident on the upper Chesapeake Bay, years ago. If I recall the Sunsation had a 572ci motor.

Sick,
My boat does NOT chine walk. I do have long tabs-maybe that helps?? |
