Default Scary racing accident...

I used a high speed camera when filmiing this... I tried to run it a normal racing speeds I think I might have gotten it pretty close. The driver had water in both lungs but later recovered from it. The navigator had some pretty nasty beat-up shins from trying to get out from underneath the raceboat. All in all the next day both were walking around and talking with other fellow racers. The had said that they pulled the release cord as the boat was rolling just before it impacted the water. The rollbar was crushed when it landed in the shallow water and came in contact with the river boulders underwater. Pretty scary that this happened just below my feet since I was just about 100 yards from where the boat rolled. Glade they were both alright.

Wow, good shots, glad they were ok. What are the wings on the front of the hull of the boat? Is that a jet boat?

Just goes to show you any boat can trip and stuff. Glad they're ok.

There called canards or basically wings to help lift the boat for higher top end speeds. Like a trim tab on the bow.
