gas pump-out

i have about 35 gallons of garbage gas to pump out of my boat, what would be the best type of pump to use/ buy to do it with the least amount of effort???

I just pumped some race fuel out with a bulb type pump I bought at harbor freight for 7 dollars. Worked great but was slow. Once I got it moving out it siphoned by itself.

I bought a cheap external electric fuel pump from pep boys, bought some hose, removed the filler hose at the tank inserted the hose Wired in a on/off switch ran some leads to the battery and pumped it into a 55 gallon drum. whole thing cost $40 bucks and about an hour time.

About did the same thing but used a cheap drill pump (about 8 bucks) from home depot.
When done call your local dump and see when they have a hazardous waste drop off day and they will take it off your hands.

+1

Exactly what I have did. It works great; and you are using all the right equipment for moving extremely flamable liquids.

Capitol marine in Ft. Lauderdale. I doubt they are up there but im sure there is a company that does that

Do you have electric fuel pumps? Just connect a hose from the outlet side to a tank and turn on the key...

Whats wrong with a 5' section of garden hose? a couple of huffs and your good to go...
