I'm a little ways from Norfolk but used to boat in that area some....I can't think of any that are used there. Got any more info on it? Maybe I can shed some light on it.

There is an excellent one in Houston, Clear Lake City area called "Fast Eddie". He is a member of TOPPS Clear Lake. It is currently for sale, very clean. Contact TOPPS and they'll put you two together.

IMO, the 2000 or newer for under 60k is going to be tough to find anything in good shape.

Especially if you want decent power like 500 or 525 EFI.

Look in the Classifides here.

I swear I just saw a 1999 for sale that runs over 100MPH for around that number. I know it isn't 2000+ but with that speed and power who cares.

agreed. IMO for 60k and 2000+, you are in fastech 292 price ranges not 353.

So I am assuming the model year is for financing/insurance reasons so I apologize for these not exactly matching criteria BUT if he can move a little bit on a couple of things take a look at the following and potentially then you MIGHT get close on the pricing he is looking for. Otherwise I would look at the 1998-2000 boats in the 40-55k range:
'99 for 57k
http://www.boattrader.com/listing/19...stech-98685775
2003 with blue motors for 75k
http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...h-353-97798168
99 with blue motors for 75k
http://www.boattrader.com/listing/19...-7838-97496124
And personally if he can swing this--this would take my bet if it checks out:
Clean 2005 for 85K
http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...stech-98719549
Starting to see 2006-2008's dropping below 100k with HO's.

We have room on the price. He just does not want to go up toward 100k so i started near 60k. Motors do not matter he is not a speed freak lol I know and no trailer is fine i know where one is Thanks
